URBAN DECAY Gwen Stefani Lipsticks

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Lipsticks icon(0.11 oz.) individually retail for $18 USD ($21 CAD) and are available in 6 shades, plus 2 Urban Decay online exclusives. They are said to be "a collection of lipstick shades—from sheer to cream to mega matte—created in collaboration with Gwen Stefani."

Firebird is described as a deep fuchsia cream. [LE]
Spiderweb is described as a satin red cream. [LE]

"Gwen Stefani worked with Urban Decay to create her blend of perfect shades and ideal textures. This lineup of six shades ranges from a bright red matte to a shimmering sheer nude and a creamy deep fuchsia. It features Urban Decay’s first-ever shade in Mega Matte finish—an ultra-bold matte that lays down a lot of color in one coat. Formulated with Urban Decay’s proprietary Pigment Infusion System™, these shades offer a super-creamy texture, rich color payoff, and superior color dispersion."
The packaging is plastic black tube with a metallic gold, stripe design. The plastic doesn't feel quite as luxurious as you would typically expect from the brand—it's thinner and not as durable. They also have no noticeable scent or taste. The formula is their signature Revolution Lipstick line, so you're actually paying less for more product! (Revolution Lipsticks - $22 USD / $26 CAD for 0.09 oz.)

Firebird is a medium-dark, brightened fuchsia pink with cool undertones, magenta sparkle and a luminous, pearl finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly and had mostly opaque color payoff. I felt my natural lip pigmentation did show through lightly on a closer inspection, but it never caused the color look uneven or take away from the blue shift effect. Firebird lasted +6 hours, was lightly hydrating and left behind a stain. (5/5)
* MAC What's Going On? (LE) was lighter, more pink. Bite Beauty Palomino was less blue, more fuchsia. Kat Von D Sexer was lighter, cooler, more metallic.

Spiderweb is a medium-dark, brightened red with neutral undertones and a creamy, luminous finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly and had nice, opaque pigmentation. It had a creamy consistency that went on easily, was comfortable throughout wear and never bled or feathered. Spiderweb lasted +6.5 hours, was lightly hydrating and left behind a stain. (5/5)
* ColourPop Jingle (LE) was warmer. MAC Von Teese (LE) was a touch brighter, more orange. Marc Jacobs Dashing was similar. Stila Fiery was a touch darker, matte. Too Faced Melted Velvet was lighter, less opaque. Yves Saint Laurent Le Rouge was lighter, warmer.

Overall, these are great lipsticks—they're pigmented, longer-lasting, hydrating and comfortable on the lips. Gwen Stefani is known for rocking bold lips and Urban Decay knows how to make an excellent lipstick formula, so naturally, the collaboration lived up to expectations! Whether you're looking for that perfect red or you're just in the market for another lipstick, than you'll No Doubt (the pun, ha ha!) be a fan of these!
