MAC released their newest, big summer collection Alluring Aquatic May 15, 2014 online and May 22, 2014 in-stores. The biggest win with this massive 32-piece collection is the limited-edition unique packaging. Most of the shades featured are muted/neutral, so this collection may not be for everyone.

The extra dimension formulas in the collection were the best yet. Finely milled, soft, smooth and compliment the skin beautifully! Both bronzing powders are re-releases, they tend to pop up at least once a year. I previously owned Refined Golden (see below for a comparison swatch) from the past Style Warriors (2009) collection. Let's face it, the compact was the real catch here!
Aphrodite's Shell is a neutral golden brown with subtle gold shimmer. It has noticeable warm, yellow undertones and a satin finish. The shimmer and luminous finish is definitely more noticeable in person than on camera. The texture in soft, smooth, finely-milled and applies sheer. The product is buildable but requires some layering. Aphrodite's Shell compliments fair skin tones best (as it's light and sheer) and lasted +8 hours. (4/5)
Delphic is an orange brown with subtle gold shimmer. It has very warm, orange undertones and a satin finish. The shimmer and luminous finish is definitely more noticeable in person than on camera. The texture in silky, smooth, finely-milled and applies sheer. The product is easier to build but still requires some layering. Delphic lasted +8 hours. (4/5)
Golden is a light beige tan with a slight gold shimmer. The texture is soft, smooth and applies rather sheer, but is buildable. I found MAC bronzing powders tend to turn rather orange on my NW10/15 skin. This bronzing powder lasted +7 hours. (4/5)
