Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer (0.13 oz.) individually retail for $18 USD ($21 CAD) and are available in 16 shades. They are said to be "a rich, weightless formula that fuses bold, saturated color with a smoothing primer."

* Beige Pop (04) is described as a light, pinkish nude creme. [P]

* Berry Pop (15) is described as a rich, dark berry creme. [P]

* Cherry Pop (08) is described as a rich, blue red creme. [P]

* Fab Pop (12) is described as a light, pink creme. [P]

* Grape Pop (16) is described as a neutral, blue purple creme. [P]

* Plum Pop (14) is described as a soft, neutral plum creme. [P]

* Sweet Pop (09) is described as a bright, yellow pink creme. [P]

* Wow Pop (11) is described as a bright, blue pink creme. [P]

"This lip color delivers a lightweight formula that lasts for up to eight hours. It glides on effortlessly, creating a modern-velvet finish that keeps lips comfortable while color stays true. This product is allergy tested and 100 percent fragrance-free."

The packaging is half reflective silver and half color-coded depending on the shade—which is incredibly useful. As expected with Clinique products, these lipsticks are fragrance-free and have no taste. The formula was smooth, lightly moisturizing and had good color payoff, despite some of the lighter shades falling into lip lines over time. They have a thin, weightless consistency that makes applying easy, without the product tugging or dragging.

Beige Pop is a light-medium, peach beige with warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. This shade applied smoothly, mostly even and semi-opaque. My natural lip pigmentation did show through in some areas and the color liked to lightly settle into fine lines and imperfections over time. Beige Pop wore well for +3.5 hours before fading. (4/5)

* Bite Retsina was similar, more brown.  Kat Von D Noble was less pink, matte.  Too Faced Melted Chihuahua was darker, more brown.

Berry Pop is a medium, brightened, red-berry with warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. This shade applied smoothly, mostly even and semi-opaque. It had nice pigmentation but the color lightly grabbed to any imperfections, making it appear slightly darker in those areas. Berry Pop wore well for +5 hours and left behind a faint stain. (4/5)

* MAC D For Danger was light, cooler, more muted.

Cherry Pop is a medium, brightened, vivid red with cool undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly and mostly opaque. It was the best performing shade of the bunch and the smooth, creamy consistency made it very comfortable to wear. Cherry Pop wore well for +6 hours and left behind a stain. (5/5)

* Too Faced Melted Velvet was lighter, warmer.  Too Faced Melted Strawberry was lighter, more pink.

Fab Pop is a light, baby pink with warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. This shade applied smoothly mostly even and semi-opaque. Due to the thinner consistency, this particular color quite a bit of slip which caused it to settle into the fine lines of my lips almost immediately after applying—applying a lip pencil beforehand helped prevent this. Fab Pop wore well for +3 hours before fading. (4/5) *I experienced the entire lipstick breaking out of the tube  from the base the first time I went to swatch this shade. Fortunately, my local Sephora swapped it for a new one and I haven't had issues since.

* Kat Von D Lovesick was warmer, matte.  Kat Von D Melancholia was lighter, more yellow toned, matte.

Grape Pop is a light-medium, muted lavender-pink with warm undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. This shade applied smoothly, mostly even and semi-opaque. The pigmentation of this particular color was really nice, but the payoff felt more sheer than it should. Grape Pop wore well for +5 hours before fading. (5/5)

* Too Faced Melted Violet was lighter, brighter, more purple.  MAC Heroine was darker, cooler, more purple.  MAC Men Love Mystery was cooler, muted, more purple.  Sephora African Violet was brighter, cooler, matte.

Plum Pop is a medium, muted pink-plum with neutral undertones and a creamy, glossy finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly and mostly opaque. It had a thicker consistency than the rest which stopped the color from settling into fine lines, but I felt it accentuated imperfections more easily. Plum Pop wore well for +5 hours before fading. (5/5)

* Too Faced Melted Fig was cooler, more purple.  Kat Von D Mother was brighter, cooler, more pink.  Sephora Marvelous Mauve was muted, more brown, matte.  Sephora Pink Souffle was lighter, more pink.

Sweet Pop is a light-medium, candy pink with cool undertones and a creamy satin finish. This shade applied smoothly, mostly even and semi-opaque. Yet again due to the pale nature and thinner consistency, I found the color did lightly settle into fine lines over time, but not nearly as bad as the others. Sweet Pop wore well for +4 hours before fading. (5/5)

* Kat Von D Lovesick was lighter, cooler, matte.

Wow Pop is a light-medium, brightened pink with cool undertones and a creamy satin finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly and opaque. It had great color payoff, although it felt more sheer than you'd expect. Unlike some of the other shades, I experienced very little product pulling into lip lines over time. Wow Pop wore well for +5.5 hours before fading. (5/5)

* MAC Candy Yum Yum was darker.  Kat Von D Backstage Bambi was darker, warmer, matte.

Overall, while these lipsticks didn't perform as described—ie. smoothing, velvet finish, bold color, 8-hour wear—if you compare them to your average lipstick, they are a nice formula nevertheless. The Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer's provide a nice, creamy pop of color, they are incredibly comfortable and lightly hydrate lips during wear. I will definitely be reaching for these on days where I want a hydrating, low maintenance lip color; and if that sounds like you, these are definitely worth checking out! (**Shades contain Carmine and Red Lake 6, 7, 22, 28 and 30 Pigments)

The packaging is a completely transparent, clear plastic compact—which is great considering the product has an eye catching, embossed daisy design. I really appreciate the packaging and how they incorporated the product itself as the actual selling point. These blushes, without doubt, have to be the most visually appealing blushes to date! They are so cute!

The formula was consistent in all twelve shades. Application is fool-proof as the product blends out incredibly easy on the skin and has excellent, buildable color payoff. Whether you like a bold pop of color or a subtle flush, these blushes can achieve that. The satin finish leaves a soft, luminous sheen that doesn't emphasize pores or imperfections.

Berry Pop (03) is a medium-dark, bright fuchsia with cool undertones and a satin sheen. The texture was soft, velvety and easily blended out on the skin. It had excellent pigmentation that could be built or sheered out easily, so I can see this particular shade working great on all skin tones. Berry Pop wore well for +8 hours. (5/5)

Cola Pop (07) is a medium-dark burgundy with warm undertones and a satin sheen. This shade had a smooth, velvety texture that blended out nicely and evenly on the skin. It had rich pigmentation that could be built easily or sheered out for a more subtle, luminous flush of color. Again, this is a shade I can see working on any skin tone. Cola Pop wore well for +9 hours. (5/5)

Fig Pop (10) is a medium-dark, coral with hints of orange, warm undertones and a satin sheen. The texture was soft, velvety, smooth and blended out beautifully on the skin. It had rich color payoff that could be built or sheered easily. Fig Pop wore well for +9 hours before fading. (5/5) *Ginger Pop is darker, more coral in comparison.

Ginger Pop (01) is a medium-dark, coral with hints of red, warm undertones and  satin sheen. This shade had a very soft, smooth texture that blends out easily on the skin. It had excellent color payoff that could be built or sheered out depending on your skin tone. Ginger Pop wore well for +8 hours. (5/5) *Fig Pop is lighter, brighter and more peach in comparison.

Heather Pop (14) is a light-medium pink with cool undertones and a satin sheen. The texture was soft, silky and blended out beautifully. This shade wasn't quite as pigmented as some of the other shades, but the color could still be built easily and left behind a glow to the skin. Heather Pop wore well for +9 hours before fading. (5/5)

Melon Pop (08) is a light-medium, pink with hints of coral with warm undertones and a satin sheen. This shade was velvety, smooth and blended out easily on the skin. While the pale nature of this particular blush may not work on deeper skin tones, the pigmentation is still nicely buildable to a degree that will make a great natural blush for fair-medium skin tones. Melon Pop wore well for +8 hours before fading. (5/5)

Nude Pop (05) is a light-medium peach with hints of brown, warm undertones and a satin sheen. The texture was soft, velvety and blended out easily. Again, the pale nature of this particular shade will suit fair complexions best. Nude Pop had true-to-pan pigmentation and wore well for +8 hours. (5/5)

Pansy Pop (15) is a light-medium lilac with hints of pink, cool undertones and a satin sheen. This shade was soft, smooth and blended out like a dream. This shade wasn't quite as pigmented as some of the other shades, but the color could still be built easily and left behind a glow to the skin. Pansy Pop wore well for +8 hours before fading. (5/5)

Peach Pop (02) is a medium-dark, coral with hints of pink, warm undertones and a satin sheen. The texture was soft, smooth and blended very easily. It had excellent color payoff that could be built or sheered out depending on your skin tone. Peach Pop wore well for +8 hours.(5/5)

Pink Pop (12) is a light-medium, pink rose with cool undertones and a satin sheen. The texture was soft, velvety and very easily blended out on the skin. Again, it had excellent color payoff that could be built or sheered out depending on your complexion. Pink Pop wore well for +8.5 hours. (5/5)

Plum Pop (04) is a medium-dark, pink berry with cool undertones and a satin sheen. This shade had a smooth, velvety texture that blended out nicely and evenly on the skin. It had rich pigmentation that could be built easily or sheered out for a more subtle, luminous flush of color. Again, this is a shade I can see working on any skin tone. Plum Pop wore well for +8 hours. (5/5)

Rosy Pop (13) is a medium-dark pink with cool undertones and a satin sheen. This shade was soft, smooth and blended out like a dream. It had excellent, rich pigmentation that left behind a glow to the skin and could easily be built or sheered depending on your needs. Rosy Pop wore well for +8 hours. (5/5) *Pink Pop is lighter, less warm when compared.

Overall, Clinique really hit the mark with these blushes. No matter what shade(s) you decide on, the quality and performance won't vary. Whether you like a bold pop of color or a subtle blush, these blushes can achieve that. They're truly a win-win for everyone and I highly recommend checking them out!

MAC released their newest collection MAC is Beauty on March 30, 2015 online and April 2, 2015 in-stores. The collection featured limited edition lipsticks, fluidlines, eye shadows, eye liners, cremesheen glasses, beauty powders, nail lacquers and brushes.

- Diva-ish is a medium, pink fuchsia with warm undertones and a satin finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly and mostly opaque. I noticed the color seemed to grab and accentuate any dry flakes or imperfections on the lips. Diva-ish wore well for +4.5 hours and was a tad drying when worn. (4/5)

- Make Me Gorgeous is a light-medium, bright coral with hints of pink, warm undertones and a satin finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly, fully opaque and had rich pigmentation. Make Me Gorgeous wore well for +5 hours before fading. (5/5)

- Reel Sexy is a light-medium peach with hints of coral, warm undertones and a satin finish. This shade applied smoothly, mostly opaque and had good pigmentation. I noticed the color lightly settled into any fine lines which caused the color to look somewhat uneven and almost streaky at times. Reel Sexy wore well for +4.5 hours before fading. (4/5)

- Silly is a light-medium, brightened pink with cool undertones and a satin matte finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly, nicely opaque and had great pigmentation. I noticed the color lightly gravitated towards the fine lines of my lips over time, but didn't cause the color to look uneven. Silly wore well for +5 hours and was a tad drying when worn. (5/5)

- Blacktrack is a dark black with neutral undertones and a matte finish. This shade dries to a completely flat matte and is mostly opaque in a single stroke and can easily be layered for a fully opaque coverage. Blacktrack wore well for +11 hours. (5/5)

- Blue Peep is a medium, brightened blue with cool undertones and a matte finish. This shade also dried to a flat matte finish and could be easily layered for a fully opaque coverage. Blue Peep wore well for +11 hours. (5/5) *This shade was previously released with the MAC x Philip Treacy Collection.

- Looking Good is a medium-dark, burgundy with hints of copper, warm undertones and a sparkly finish. This shade had a slippery consistency which made it difficult to layer the product over itself as it would sheer the color out and look uneven. Looking Good had semi-decent pigmentation in a single stroke and wore well for +10 hours. (3/5)

- Macroviolet is a medium-dark, purple burgundy with warm undertones and a pearl finish. This shade had less slippery consistency than most other shades and had richer, more opaque color payoff in a single swipe. Macroviolet wore well for +11 hours.(4/5) 

- Our Secret is a medium-dark brown with warm undertones and a pearl finish. This shade had good pigmentation in a single swipe and could be built to a more opaque coverage. Our Secret wore well for +11 hours. (4/5)

- Shade is a dark evergreen with hints of teal, cool undertones and a mostly matte finish. This shade dried to a flat matte, but at times it almost appeared to be a pearl or satin finish. The color was buildable to a mostly opaque coverage, but was difficult at times to get an even application. Shade wore well for +10 hours. (4/5)

- Siahi is a dark blue with hints of green, cool undertones and a pearl finish. This shade applied semi-opaque in a single stroke and even once the product had been built up. The sheerer nature of this particular shade caused it to appear almost patchy at times. Siahi wore well for +10 hours. (3/5) 

 * Beauty Powder $26 USD / $31 CAD (0.35 oz.) [LE]

•  Alpha Girl is described as a soft peachy pink w/ gold.


•  Pearl Blossom is described as a light pink w/ silver pearl.

- Alpha Girl is a light-medium coral with warm undertones and a subtle golden sheen. The texture was soft, smooth and very thin. The powder felt weightless and almost applied chalky before working the product into the skin. It had good pigmentation that was buildable and blended out somewhat easily on the skin. Depending on your complexion, this shade could be used as a blusher, highlighter or subtle flush of color. Alpha Girl lasted +8 hours before fading. (4/5)

- Pearl Blossom is a light-medium pink with cool undertones and a soft, silver sheen. The texture was soft, smooth and thinner than your average powder. It was easy to pick up with a brush and control the amount of sheen and color being applied. This shade had good, sheer pigmentation and didn't emphasize pores or imperfections. Pearl Blossom wore well for +8.5 hours. (5/5)
