NARS Digital World Lip Pencil Set retails for $49 USD ($56 CAD) and features five, deluxe sized lip pencils; two velvet matte pencils (0.06 oz.) and three satin pencils (0.05 oz.) The set is exclusive to Sephora and comes houses in a thick acrylic, keepsake box. It is said to be "a limited-edition set of NARS Satin and Velvet Matte lip pencils, created exclusively for the Laced with Edge Holiday 2014 Collection."

The Velvet Matte Lip Pencils retail for $25 USD ($31 CAD) and contain 0.086 oz. of product. The Satin Lip Pencils retail for $25 USD ($31 CAD) and contain 0.07 oz. of product. With that said, this set contains $88 USD ($110 CAD) worth of product. You are getting a good value, as you're getting to try five shades for the price of two full-sized pencils.

The packaging is a standard, travel-sized pencil and the bottom section is color-coded depending on the shade. The only real downfall with these pencils is that they aren't retractable and need to be sharpened. There will be some wasted product and they won't be as travel friendly seeing as you'd need to carry around a sharpener.

In a whole, these pencils perform wonderfully. The formula is long-wearing, pigmented, opaque, lightly creamy and doesn't skip, grab or cling to lips. I didn't experience any feathering and depending on the shade, they do leave behind a faint stain. These pencils weren't overly hydrating or drying to lips, which was nice.

Cruella is a medium-dark, muted red with cool undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, smooth and glided-on easily without tugging or pulling at lips. It applied evenly, fully pigmented and was lightly drying. This shade wore well for +6 hours and left behind a stain. (5/5)

Iberico is a medium-dark, vibrant orange with warm undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, smooth and glided-on easily. It applied evenly, nicely pigmented and was slightly drying. This shade wore well for +6 hours and left behind a stain. (5/5)

Yu is a medium-dark, vibrant fuchsia pink with cool undertones and a creamy satin finish. The texture was soft, smooth, creamy and glided-on easily. It applied evenly, mostly opaque and was lightly hydrating. This shade wore well for +6 hours and left behind a stain. (5/5)

Descanso is a light-medium, coral peach with warm undertones and a satin finish. The texture was soft, smooth and glided-on easily. It applied evenly, mostly opaque and was lightly hydrating. This shade wore well for +5 hours and left behind a stain. (5/5)

Torres del Paine is a light-medium, peachy orange with warm undertones and a satin finish. The texture was soft, smooth and glided-on easily. It applied mostly even, fairly opaque and was lightly hydrating. This shade wore well for +5 hours before fading. (5/5)

Overall, it's a really great lip set – nicely valued and a nice selection of nude-to-bright shades. For once, I also appreciate the packaging and I can't wait to display it over the holidays! (All of NARS' holiday collection is inspired straight from Chris Kabatsi's nebula print, which still feels holiday-esque (reminds me of cracked ice) without following the traditional, overdone snowflakes and glitter!) Whether you're planning to gift this set, try the products out for the first time or are a long-time fan eager to get your hands on the limited-edition shades, it's definitely worth checking out!
