It features both permanent shades and previously released shades! The Revolution Lipsticks retail for $22 USD ($26 CAD) and contain 0.09 oz. of product. The 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencils retail for $20 USD ($24 CAD) and contain 0.04 oz. of product. With that said, this set is a $71 USD ($85 CAD) value. You're getting to try six shades for just over the price of three full-sized lipsticks – with a universal, full-sized lip liner thrown in!

The packaging is beautiful. All of the products come housed in a hard, cardboard box with a flip-open top and magnetic closure. (It's definitely something I'll be displaying in my vanity area!) The miniature lipsticks can be a little frustrating to use, as they are rather small and don't fit in your hand like a typical lipstick. They can also be more delicate – I've heard some people have had their lipsticks break while applying, this hasn't been an issue personally though.

Crush is a medium-dark, vivid fuchsia pink with cool undertones and a luminous finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly, creamy, richly pigmented and opaque. It was lightly drying when worn and lasted +6 hours before leaving behind a stain. (5/5)

F-Bomb is a medium-dark red with subtle, warm undertones and a luminous, creamy finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly, fully pigmented and opaque. It was lightly drying when worn and lasted +5.5 hours before leaving behind a faint stain. (5/5)

Gash is a medium-dark, red with very fine ruby shimmer, cool undertones and a luminous finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly, intensely pigmented and fully opaque. It was lightly hydrating for the first few hours of wear and lasted +7 hours before leaving behind a stain. (5/5)

Ladyflower is a medium fuchsia with slight hints of purple, cool undertones and a luminous finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly, nicely pigmented and fully opaque. It was lightly hydrating when worn and lasted +5.5 hours before fading. (5/5)

Liar is a medium-dark, coral brown with warm undertones and a luminous finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly, fully pigmented and opaque. It glided-on very easily and was neither drying or hydrating when worn. Liar lasted +5 hours before fading. (5/5)

Illicit is a light-medium, sheer pink with cool undertones and a frosted finish. This shade applied smoothly, sheer and somewhat uneven. I found the color/shimmer grabbed and settled into the fine lines of my lips over time. It was lightly drying when worn and lasted +3 hours before fading. (4/5)

Ozone is a clear, completely transparent pencil. It's completely invisible once applied – no shine, no glare, nothing. This liner applied smoothly and easily without dragging or tugging. It can be used as a traditional lip liner, to keep your lip products in place without altering the color, or you can wear it outside of your natural lip line to prevent feathering and to really keep your lip color in place. It wasn't drying and it didn't cling to lips. (5/5)

Overall, this set is a great value and the idea behind it is great. You're getting to try multiple shades without fully committing to the cost of a single, full-sized lipstick. The Revolution Lipstick formula is one of my favorites, as the performance and quality is consistent. They are comfortable to wear, creamy, smooth, opaque, glide-on easily and longer-lasting. I would love to see the limited shades make their way into the permanent range!
