HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Bronzer | Luminous Bronze Light

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer (0.39 oz.) individually retail for $50 USD ($60 CAD) and are available in two shades. They are said to be "an illuminating bronzer with Photoluminescent Technology, featuring bronze pigments that deliver a natural-looking, sunkissed glow while flaunting depth and dimension."

Luminous Bronze Light is described as a medium tan shade fused with Luminous Light, a champagne pearl powder, for a softer, candlelit warmth. (Ideal for fair/light complexions.) [P]
"Ambient Bronzer’s sheer, airy formula sweeps softly onto skin for a healthy-looking, radiant finish. It’s formulated with Photoluminescent Technology, featuring optically transparent particles that transform the look of skin by manipulating and refracting light to emphasize your best features. The optically transparent particles allow for seamless blending and color transitions. The powders, blended by hand using an advanced miscelare technique, offer the perfect balance of pigments in a gorgeous pattern. Use this bronzer alone, or paired with Ambient Lighting Powder for maximum control to create depth and dimension—or even use it for a subtle contouring effect."
The packaging is Hourglass's signature gold metallic compact and features a mirror. For a size comparison, the compact is the same as the Ambient Lighting Powders. This product is aimed towards combining the illuminating effects of their signature powders (hence the coordinating name) with a bronze tone to deliver a natural, sun-kissed glow.

Luminous Bronze Light is a medium-dark, muted tan brown with warm undertones and a golden sheen finish. The texture was silky, smooth and blended out easily on the skin. It had good pigmentation that started sheer, but was incredibly easy to build and intensify. Despite seeming shimmery or frosty in the pan, it left a very soft sheen once applied that didn't emphasize pores or imperfections. Luminous Bronze Light wore well for +8 hours before fading lightly(5/5)

Overall, this product is great if you're not a big fan of traditional bronzers, but you're still looking to add a little glow and hint of color to your skin. After comparing both shades side-by-side in store, there wasn't much noticeable difference between them, besides Radiant Bronze Light being a couple shades darker. With that said, the performance is consistent so there's no real need to own both—it'll just depend which suits your skintone best. Either way, they're worth checking out if you like the Ambient Lighting formulas!
