"There is no such thing as too much sparkle! ZPalette is bling-ing in the holidays with a limited edition collection of Glitter Z Palettes designed to transform even the messiest of makeup kits into dazzling and glamorous creations, sparkling with icy brilliance."
The brand's palettes are made entirely from recycled materials. Not only that, but they actually promote buying re-fill and pan-only form products (check out their list here) not only to help the environment, but to help you save money!
Despite these palettes being glittery, the texture is incredibly smooth and there is no need to worry about stray specs of glitter; there's no particle shedding. The palettes themselves are made of thick, durable cardboard and feature a sturdy magnetic closure. The flip-top features a clear window (appears to be made out of thick acrylic) that makes it easy to see what products are in each palette. The flip-top can also be folded underneath the palette itself which is great if you have limited space, you tend to hold your palettes while applying products or you're a make up artist.
Z Palettes come in a variety of colors and sizes, even deeper ones designed for baked or domed products! (Organizing your products by color-coding palettes? Yes, please!) The palettes are great for travel and minimizing the amount of storage needed for your pressed products. Especially the smaller sizes; they're a little larger than your typical quad, so popping your favorite shades into a smaller compact to use on-the-go is brilliant!
The large palettes hold approximately 28 standard shadows (MAC, Urban Decay, etc.) while the small palettes hold approximately 9.
Overall, the quality of these palettes is outstanding and comparable, if not better than the beloved Pro Palettes from MAC. If you haven't checked out Z Palette yet, I highly recommend that you do! The company covers and sells everything you'll need to depot - palettes, stickers, empty pans for pressing loose pigments, you name it! Depotting products is truly the way to go in saving both time and space.
