If you're new to the brand here are some facts: Bite is exclusive to Sephora and their products are free of petrochemicals. They are also organic and all-natural. All lip products are made with nurturing food-grade ingredients that are healthy enough to eat! The founder believes, "You eat what you put on your lips, so your lipstick should be good for you."

The packaging is the brands signature matte tube with a silicone texture. They have a slight citrus type scent that can be noticed on initial application, but it does fade rather quickly.

Mauvember is a medium-dark, muted lavender pink with cool undertones and a luminous finish. This shade applied smoothly, evenly and semi-opaque. It had a creamy consistency, but felt much thinner than the regular formula which is what caused it to have sheerer pigmentation. Mauvember lasted +5 hours and felt moisturizing throughout wear. * Clinique Grape Pop was more purple. Too Faced Melted Fig was darker, warmer, more plum.

Overall, despite the fact it didn't have quite the same formula as their regular lipsticks, it's still a nice performing lipstick and the color is more on the unique side. Plus, it's all for a good cause! After all, who doesn't love buying makeup, all while supporting foundations?! If you're able to get your hands on this limited edition shade, it's definitely worth picking up!
