The packaging is a sleek, metallic rose gold tube with two sections; the longer half being the applicator and the smaller half containing the product. The applicator is a thin flexible brush, rather than your standard tapered foam-type brush. The narrow bristles allows total control and precision when applying. It's easy to achieve a very thin line or apply pressure and get a thicker, bolder line.

With most liquid liners, you will want to shake-before-use to ensure the product won't become thin or diluted before applying. While this liner is not waterproof, it is longer-lasting and it does hold up well against humidity without bleeding, fading or flaking.

Marsala is a medium-dark, terracotta red with warm undertones and a metallic finish. The formula applied ultra smooth, evenly and fully opaque in a single stroke. It had rich pigmentation and dried rather quickly, roughly 15-30 seconds after applying. Marsala wore incredibly well for +10 hours before peeling slightly around the edges. (5/5)

Overall, the performance and quality of the Marsala Metalshine Liquid Liner is outstanding. The metallic finish is simply eye catching without being too intense or unwearable. It can easily be paired with the more neutral looks to add a little something extra.
