The packaging is a sleek, plastic compact that features a mirror and has a luxurious quilted design etched onto the product itself. The powder is supposed to be a "weightless, innovative gel-powder" which is actually a spot on description—although it's a powder, it applies effortlessly, smoothly and almost melts across the skin like a cream would.

1 Pink Beige (Highlight) is a light pearl white with pink and gold sheen, neutral undertones and a frosted finish. The texture was soft, smooth, finely-milled and blended out easily. Whether you're a fan of a strong highlight or a subtle glow, controlling the luminosity is simple. This shade also had good, buildable color payoff that ever-so-lightly emphasized pores and imperfections if too much product was applied to the skin. 1 Pink Beige (Highlighter) lasted +7.5 hours before fading. 1 Pink Beige (Contour) is a light-medium, orange brown with warm undertones and a satin sheen. The texture was ultra soft, smooth and blended out beautifully on the skin. This shade had semi-sheer pigmentation in a single swipe but was extremely easy to build to a more opaque coverage or concentrate the color to create more depth in certain areas. 1 Pink Beige (Contour) wore well for +8 hours before fading. My favorite method of application is to use a fluffier brush, like the Make Up For Ever 156 Large Flat Blush Brush ($37 USD / $43 CAD), that will gently sweep the product over the cheeks rather than pack it on. This particular brush has synthetic hairs which are extremely soft and have just enough density to apply a gentle wash of color to the skin. This is exceptionally great for products with an stronger frost as it diffuses the finish into more of a sheen.

Overall, the Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Duo is a really great, easy product! I definitely found it aims more towards illuminating the face and adding a natural sun kissed glow to the skin, rather than your traditional contouring and highlighting—although you're still creating dimension and shape. For those who love a frosty highlight or a luminous bronzer, I would definitely check these compacts out, especially for summer time!
