MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus Lipstick & Lipglass

MAC released their newest Viva Glam collaboration on January 20, 2015 online and January 22, 2015 in-stores.

- Viva Glam Miley Cyrus is a medium-dark, bright fuchsia with cool undertones and a satin finish. This shade was nicely opaque and had rich, full pigmentation in a single stroke. It had a lightly creamy consistency that applied smoothly and evenly to the lips without dragging. Viva Glam Miley Cyrus wore well for +5.5 hours and left behind a stain. (5/5)

- Viva Glam Miley Cyrus is a sheer, medium-dark, bright fuchsia with cool undertones and a glossy, shimmer finish. The base color of this gloss is quite sheer and leaves the lips with a nice tint of color. The shimmer and sparkle was also noticeable once applied. The formula was slightly thinner and had more movement than an average MAC lipglass, but still remained thicker and tackier than your standard gloss. Viva Glam Miley Cyrus wore well for +3.5 hours before fading. (4/5)

Overall, both the lipstick and lipglass performed nicely on their own, as well as paired together. The sparkly finish of the gloss definitely intensified the overall look of the lipstick when applied, although I feel most sheer, sparkly glosses could end up achieving this.

MAC tends to release bright pink lipsticks pretty often, so while this shade is rather dupeable and similar to past colors, all proceeds go towards a very good cause and they are definitely worth checking out for that reason!
