TARTE Tartelette Celebrated Amazonian Clay Blush

Tarte Tartelette Celebrated Amazonian Clay Blush (0.20 oz) retails for $26 USD ($31 CAD) and is said to be "an amazonian clay, 12-hour blush in a shade that celebrates 15 years of tarte."

Celebrated is described as a warm pink nude. [LE]
"To honor the natural beauty of tartelettes everywhere, tarte is introducing a shade to join the ranks of its bestselling, long-wearing powder blushes: a warm pink nude in Celebrated. This nutrient-rich blush is infused with its iconic Amazonian clay-infused formula to balance and replenish the skin for up to 12 hours of fade-free, flawless wear. It features a collector’s edition confetti compact and box just in time for tarte’s 15th birthday."
The packaging is slightly different than the regular packaging; the compact is decorated in gold confetti with "tartelette" written across the front. The compact features a mirror and the pan of product can be popped out easily if you're interested in depotting.

In a whole, this blush is quite pale and barely shows on my fair skin (NW10/NW15), but it does leave your skin looking softer and more matte where the product was applied. For most skin tones I can see this blush being great to pair over brighter blush shades to almost sheer out or wash down the color.

Celebrated is a light-medium, dusty pink nude with neutral undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft, smooth and lightly powdery in the pan, which transferred to any imperfections or dry patches on the skin. This shade was very light in color so it was only buildable to a certain degree, but the product blended out evenly and easily on the skin. Celebrated lasted +8 hours before fading. (4/5)

Overall, as usual with the Amazonian Clay Blushes, this shade did fall short of the 12-hour claim, but it was a longer lasting blush that wears nicely on the skin. While I am personally a big fan of the tarte blush line, the fair nature of Celebrated was disappointing. Again, it works great as a transition shade or to layer over other blushes to dull the pigmentation slightly. If you happen to be very fair than this blush will make a great everyday natural blush, but for any medium-tan-dark beauties out there, I would definitely test it out in stores first!
