GUERLAIN Meteorites Perles de Blush Angelic Radiance

Guerlain Météorites Perles De Blush Angelic Radiance (0.45 oz) retails for $53 USD ($67.20 CAD) and is said to be "a hybrid blush with three kinds of pearls that create an angelic-looking complexion."

Angelic Radiance is described as a fuchsia that revives the natural color of the cheeks, an iridescent champagne that illuminates the curve of the cheekbones and a rose petal pink that gently refreshed the complexion.
"Give cheeks the appearance of soft springtime freshness and radiance. This blush brings together a harmony of three Météorites pearls: a fuchsia that revives the natural color of the cheeks, an iridescent champagne that illuminates the curve of the cheekbones and a rose petal pink that gently refreshes the complexion. Housed in a limited-edition vintage box, it leaves behind a violet scent that’s original and totally addictive."
The permanent Meteorites Pearl Face Powders contain 0.88 oz. of product for $60 USD ($71 CAD). This blush contains half the amount for nearly the same cost, although they aren't the same product. While the original is meant for an all-over-the-face product and these pearls are meant for the cheeks, it's hard to justify the cost. Standard blushes are typically 0.15/0.20 oz. so in that aspect, you are getting a fair amount of product.

The container the product comes housed in is quite small and made from cardboard, giving it a cheaper feel for the price. The blush comes paired with a powder puff type applicator that adds a soft wash of color to the cheeks, however, I did find it to be rather messy. More often than not, while taking the applicator out of the container, loose product would fall off the sponge and create a small mess. The pearls themselves are also very small—smaller than any pearl product I've ever seen. When I tried applying the product with a brush, no matter how dense, soft, sparse, small or large the brush was, I found one or two pearls would always end up getting lodged in the bristles.

As expected, this blush has Guerlain's signature violet scent, which I personally love (literally one of my favorites of all time) but found to be stronger in this particular product than others from the brand.

Angelic Radiance is a light-medium pink with warm undertones, soft champagne sparkle and a satin finish. The texture is very soft, smooth and finely-milled. The pearls have good color payoff and the pigmentation is buildable. Depending on which individual pearls your powder puff or brush hit most of, will depend on how strong the color applies to your cheeks. The sparkle was barely noticeable once applied and left a soft, luminous sheen that didn't emphasize the look of pores or imperfections at all.

Overall, like most Guerlain products this blush is definitely a luxury item. There are other blushes that are easier to apply quickly, more pigmented, etc. but what this specific products holds above them is giving your cheeks a light, diffused, softer appearance—as the permanent Meteorites Pearl Face Powders do.
