Lotus Lashes | Mink Lashes

Lotus Lashes are handmade, cruelty free mink lashes that are currently available in 12 styles. The lashes individually retail for $20 USD and are said to be "light weight, comfortable to wear, long lasting, reusable and hypoallergenic."

The brand carries 3 different volumes of lashes, here's a list of the ones I have to share with you today...

75 is described as a medium volume mink with a cross pattern to give a natural look. They are thicker at the roots to define your lash line and thicken at the outer corners to create a winged effect.
105 is described as a medium volume mink with a crisscross pattern that is mixed with straight, thick and thin strips to give your lashes volume and length.
410 is described as a medium volume mink with spiky cut and alternating lengths to add volume and length to your lashes.
18 is described as a high volume mink with a thick crisscross pattern that will add major volume to your lashes. They are ultra thick at the roots to define your lash line.
100 is described as a high volume mink that are perfect for creating a dramatic, glamorous, high intensity lash look.
217 is described as a high volume mink a crisscross pattern and an eye opening curl that will make your lashes pop. The tapered length of the lashes will give you a gorgeous winged effect.
"We want all of our customers to feel more beautiful and confident, so we have created a lash that is perfect for every lifestyle and eye shape. All of our high quality lashes are lightweight, making them easy and comfortable to wear. Handmade with cruelty free mink, our lashes are long lasting and reusable. Lotus lashes can be worn up to 25 times. Because our lashes are sterilized, hypoallergenic, and made with no added chemicals or dyes, they are suitable for contact wearers, or people with sensitive eyes. Our lashes come in no fuss; compact and lightweight packaging that can be used to store your lashes when you are not wearing them."
The lashes come housed in cute pink packaging with gold detailing and a bow. The back of the box shares application and care instructions, and there's a label on the bottom stating the lash style number. The lashes are "sterilized, hypoallergenic and made with no added chemicals or dyes so they are suitable for those with sensitive eyes."

I've been testing and using these lashes for about a month now and truthfully, they are unlike any synthetic lash I've ever worn. These mink lashes are extremely lightweight, soft and blend easily with your natural lashes. The lash band is thicker than most false lashes, but this ensures they will remain durable and last through more wears.

The brand states their lashes can be reused up to 25 times—I haven't tested them to that extreme yet, but my most loved pair, #18, have been worn a large handful of occasions and have held up beautifully. With regular synthetic lashes I find myself disposing a pair every 4 - 5 wears, and these have already surpassed that with 10 - 12 wears, showing no physical damage, shedding, stray hairs or displacement.

Dimensions for each set are listed on the website, which helps you get a better idea of the best lashes for your eye shape. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I've never seen a company list the lash dimensions before! I did have to cut the lashes down band-length-wise, but I appreciate the fact they are extra long and require that extra effort. It makes the lashes feel custom and I love being able to add the trimmed section to my lower lash line for a more dramatic effect.

Overall, there's not much more to say besides Lotus Lashes becoming my most used and loved lashes to date. Mink lashes are without a doubt more durable, lightweight and natural-looking than any synthetic lash out there. So if you're a false lash fan or they're a staple in your make up routine, I would highly recommend checking out these lashes!
