SEPHORA + PANTONE UNIVERSE Shimmering Marsala Cheek Trio

Sephora + Pantone Universe Shimmering Marsala Cheek Trio (0.39 oz.) retails for $28 USD ($35 CAD) and is said to be "an exclusive, limited-edition trio featuring two shades of blush and a highlighter designed to complement the 2015 Color of the Year."

Spanish Villa (0.11 oz.)
Coral Pink (0.11 oz.)
Marsala (0.17 oz.)
"This limited-edition cheek set is a portable and perfect solution for adding a pop of color to everyday makeup and providing instant glow to cheek bones. The powders are created through a triple jet milled process that allows for intense color payoff and a velvety texure that leaves skin feeling luxurious, but never heavy. The uique blend of naturally derived oils and powders enhance the skin's overall appearance with a sophisticated shimmer for a radiant glow without glitter."
The packaging is a white and rose gold metallic compact that features a mirror. The compact is light-weight, slim and sleek in it's overall design. While it looks more fragile than it is, the palette is sturdy and durable enough to throw in your bag for touch ups on-the-go. The shades in this palette are warmer toned but you'll be surprised by how well they work on any skintone.

Spanish Villa is a light-medium beige with warm undertones and a frosted golden sheen. This shade was soft, smooth, pigmented, easy to blend out and left a luminous sheen to the skin that very lightly emphasized the look of pores or imperfections on the skin. It wore well for +7 hours before fading. (5/5)
Coral Pink is light-medium peach with warm undertones and a satin matte finish. This shade was soft, smooth, finely-milled and had good pigmentation. While this shade was easily blended on the skin, it was rather powdery and appeared almost chalky at times. It lasted +7 hours before fading. (4/5)
Marsala is a medium-dark, muted terracotta red with warm undertones and a satin finish. This shade was soft, smooth, finely-milled and had great pigmentation. The color was buildable, applied evenly and was easily blended out on the skin. It wore well for +8 hours before fading. (5/5)

Overall, the performance and quality of the powders in this palette are great. All three shades are buildable, have good pigmentation and a soft, blendable texture for a decent value. You can apply these blushes lightly for a subtle hint of color, or build for a more opaque coverage. Although I don't usually reach for warmer toned blushes, this palette will be making appearances come spring time, for sure.
