MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection Lipglasses

MAC released their newest, big summer collection Alluring Aquatic May 15, 2014 online and May 22, 2014 in-stores. The biggest win with this massive 32-piece collection is the limited-edition unique packaging. Most of the shades featured are muted/neutral, so this collection may not be for everyone.

Clear Water is described as a sheer nude with multidimensional pearl.

Modern Lure is described as a deep violet with pink pearl.

Seducing Sound is described as a mid-tone plum bronze.

Water Deities is described as a light bronzey pink.

All of the lipsglasses in the collection feature the signature MAC vanilla scent. These four shades have absolutely stunning shimmer to them, which is more noticeable in person than in photos. All four are great to wear alone or layering over lipsticks.

Clear Water is a sheer nude with white, silver and pearl shimmer. The base shade of the gloss is nearly transparent, so the big highlight of this gloss is the sparkle. It can be worn alone or paired over a lipstick to create shine and shimmer. This gloss alone lasted +3.5 hours. (5/5)

Modern Lure is a deep, berry red with pink shimmer. It applies semi-opaque and the shimmer is more subtle. This gloss tends to look a little uneven so pairing it over a lipstick may be key. It's an absolutely gorgeous berry nevertheless! This gloss alone lasted +3.5 hours. (5/5)

Seducing Sound is a warm-toned brown with bronze shimmer. It applied smoothly, evenly and was semi-opaque. This gloss contained a lot of glitter which helps with the color payoff. It lasted +3.5 hours. (5/5)

Water Deities is a light copper brown with a light bronze shimmer. It applied, smoothly, evenly and was semi-opaque. The base shade of the gloss is rather sheer so the insane amount of shimmer helps with the color payoff. This shade lasted +3.5 hours. (5/5)
