When Sephora introduced all of their holiday items for this season, I went ahead and picked up Lash Stash, Sephora's Favorite mascaras. This set was extremely appealing because it included all of the popular high-end mascaras. I've always wanted to experience what the big hype was compared to drugstore brands.
The Lash Stash set retails for $45 USD ($54 CAD) and includes 10 mascaras and one set of Sephora Celebrity Lashes. The set includes two fulled sized mascaras, while the rest are sample/miniature sized. All products are in the color black and are not waterproof.

claims to lengthen, curl, volumize, lift and separate
- This mascara was lengthening, however I saw no volume/fullness and the formula once dry was flaky and left my lashes feeling stiff. 4/5
* Blinc (0.141 oz.)
claims to add volume, length and be water-resistant
- This mascara was my least favorite of the bunch. It's a "tubing" mascara. As a result I saw no length, no volume and it left my lashes feeling dry like styrofoam -- it was strange. 1/5
* BUXOM (0.2 oz.)
claims to be volumizing for bigger, fuller lashes
- This mascara was very natural looking and feeling. It left my lashes with the appearance they normally have without any product, however the mascara did provide color. 3/5
* Clinique High Impact (0.14 oz.)
claims to volumize and lengthen
- This mascara is lengthening, natural looking and flexible. It definitely separates your lashes, however it doesn't add any volume. 3/5
* Lancôme Hypnose Drama (0.135 oz.)

- This mascara is very maximizing, however the smell is awful. It was so strong I could continuously smell it, to the point where I removed it from my lashes. 1/5
* Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant (0.13 oz.)
claims to volumize, lengthen and curl
- The formula itself is great; it's very lengthening, soft, flexible and adds quite a lot of curl to my lashes, however I'm not a huge fan of the wand/brush. 4/5
* Sephora Outrageous (0.5 oz. / full size)
claims to volumize
- This mascara is average, it has the quality of a generic drug store brand. The formula clumps your lashes together -- but it is the most pigmented out of the bunch. 3/5
* Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement (0.31 oz. / full size)
claims to lengthen, curl and magnifies lashes
- The formula itself was lengthening and flexible. The packaging was a different story; the gold faux leather is gaudy and the wand/brush hurt, it would stab my lash line if I applied the product too closely. 3/5
* Too Faced Better Than Sex (0.17 oz.)
claims to be smudge-proof, all day wear
- This mascara was awesome and my favorite of the bunch. It adds volume, fullness, length and leaves your lashes flexible. 5/5!
* Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effect (0.06 oz.)
claims to volumize, define, separate and wear up-to-24-hours
- The formula is lengthening, but your lashes become clumped together. The bristles are too short to separate lashes evenly and properly. 2/5

Overall, I'm glad I had the chance to snag this awesome holiday set and finally try out high-end mascaras. I wouldn't say the products are higher quality than an $8 drugstore brand, but some are greater than others. Too Faced Better Than Sex is on my purchase list. If only this set were available in a waterproof version; it would definitely be a gift to my family members.
Anyone who loves beauty or is interested in trying out these products, it's definitely worth the buy! Especially since this set of mascaras could potentially last you the entire year!
